Hello, I’m Kay Holmes and I graduated with BSc Honours in Speech and Language Therapy in 2008 at the University College Plymouth of St Marks and St Johns (Marjon).
I have previously worked in both Dorset and Somerset NHS Speech and Language Therapy services in which I worked across a variety of settings. These include:
- pre-schools
- mainstream primary, middle and secondary schools
- home visits
- Child Development Centre
I have experience in working with children with a range of communication needs including:
- speech sound delay and/or disorder
- language delay and/or disorder (both the understanding and use of language)
- attention and listening difficulties
- Global Development Delay
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Cerebral Palsy
- Selective mutism
I am currently based in Dorset and provide independent Speech and Language Therapy services to children aged 0-16 years. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and The Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
